Social and Human Rights Issues are Increasingly Complex
Human rights laws prohibit discrimination and harassment related to race, colour, ancestry,religion, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, age, marital or family status and other related areas.
Despite modern day legislative advances. Many human rights issues are centred around the workplace. However, gender and sexually based discrimination is increasingly prevalent in junior sports, schools and in the community. It can also be centered around ‘invisible disabilities’ such as dyslexia, ADD, learning and physical disabilities.
